ModernDay Village provides two different pricing/invoicing options: hourly rate and a fixed-price. Everyone providing a service can provide one or both options.
A fixed-price project involves setting a price for the service as defined in the proposal where the payment does not depend on the resources or the time spent. It is an amount agreed upon between both parties in advance.
Some customers may prefer and choose to work by a fixed-price vs. an hourly rate. If the customer doesn't state a billing preference, the person working should propose the option they feel best suits the project or service. Additionally, some service providers may already offer fixed-prices for specific types of projects highlighted in their profiles.
The proposal should clearly state which of the two invoicing options will be used for the project.
